It’s the season that reminds us we can always start over. It’s also the third best season of the show, after 2 and 3. We start with a perfectly constructed pilot. We are introduced to the main characters, who are just like us, but with a need to cut people open. We meet Cristina, Izzie, George and Meredith. We are told they will spend 7 years of their residency here and we follow their first 48 hours of work. They are tired from lack of sleep and exhausted from excitements of their first shift. On top of forcing themselves to stay focused and awake, they are challenged by Dr. Shepard with a one in a million case they need to solve.
