I will post Bones next week as I’ll only have three shows to review. Also, I’m rewatching Full House before the revival premieres probably next summer and I’m almost in the middle of the second season, but I really want to review it too, and as I don’t have too many things to do this summer, and literary two shows to follow till September, I just might. I also want to catch up on Coach before it comes back, as I’ve missed seeing Craig T. Nelson on my tv and I have only seen a few episodes.

SVU 16.23

Somehow, I don’t feel a big loss about Pino’s exit. We never had a chance to fall in love with Amaro. I had this awdul dream where he got his own show and took Amanda (Kelli) with him. I may be reluctant to Danny’s exit, but I wouldn’t bare to lose Rollins. I don’t understand why didn’t ge leave earlier, when his kids have been in California for over a year. How are we supposed to love a character who puts job over their kids? I couldn’t be happier about Olivia reminiscing to Elliot days and admitting she never had time for personal life as that partnership took all her time, confirming, what we’ve always known, that she was in love with Elliot. She waited 12 years for him to realize he loves her and he never did, now as she moved on, she had a chance to grow up and become a mother. Other then that, Peter Hermann, Mariska’s husband guest stars as her lawyer.

I’m gonna recommend you as an adoptive parent.
Watching Munch and you. This is a path I want to be on.
You can take uour son to visit Johnny D in prisin till he turns 18.
I still think we should have shot him.
Thank you, Fin.
Liv, let’s get you out of here.
He offered me money. To clean his apartment.
Fearlesness.
Let the jury hear about the pain you’ve suffered.
He treated all of us as just a body to beat and rape.
Promise yourselves, promise each other that you’re gonna go on the stand tomorrow and testify.
I was stripped, raped and sodomised.
He forced me to work 12 h shifts, 15 men. And then he druged me and told me to work another shift.
We’ll get through this.
Yes we will.
I didn’t leave, I was kidnapped.
I wasn’t working, I was held prisoner.
You helped me grow.

The Simpsons 26.22

This is not the finale, right? What’s with The Simpsons and all the weak episodes? Just imagine next year with different Flanders and Mr. Burnes. If they don’t find someone who sounds exactly same, I’m gonna be really mad. At least Ralph is rising to his standards. I need more Ralph next year.

In secondary school.
Not our problem. After 6th grade it’s goodbye and good luck!
If mommy’s purse did not belong in the microwave, why did it fit?

Younger 1.09

Josh is deep?! Really Liza? How freaking deep is he exactly with constant playing, not reading and describing smoking pot as one of his characteristics?

I would never have known about this place if I didn’t get off at the wrong stop.
Kelsey, he doesn’t read.
If that’s important to you, then it’s important.
If you have conjuctivitis, you have to leave.
When you’re done with those, you can read my junk mail.
There was a rumor you were living with her.
We’re cool with that.
I watch Ellen every day.
It’s Winter’s Bone meets Sisterhood of Travelling Pants meets The Atonement.
One woman kissed me.

Younger 1.10

Weakest episode in a few weeks, but I am glad how Liza’s first author turned out to be a fraud. I want Liza and Josh to break up as he just keeps proving my point, that he’s too immature for her.

Thia could be the next The Help.
We want to publish your book.

The finale week. I started rewatching Greys season 11, as my dad suggested a rewatch. We’re reminiscing and I’m saying it will always be my fvorite show every time I click on the next episode. I’ll never be over how good it is. And how badly I care about Meredith and other babies. There’s nothing better than spending a decade watching a show, and going through different phases in your life while they go through different phases.

Greys 11.25

The finale week is here and I can’t stand another 4 month break from Greys. We love how Ben worships Miranda. I liked when Meredith told Webber and Catherine to stop whining, as she would love to hve one more minute with her husband. Meredith introduces her new sisters to dance party tradition she had with Cristina. She also tells Maggie to come to her with everything, as because of everything she went through, she is qualified to help her. My mom, who is also a big fan of the show, my whole family is thanks to me, said the season would end with Webber/Catherine wedding and it did. April and Avery ended, as Jackson gave his wife an ultimatum. Derek’s ferryboat tape concludes this somehow uplifting finale, as we say our final goodbyes to the characters we loved for over a decade.

People said I came from a broken family. Even though getting divorced is the least broken thing they ever did.
You will be Greys Sloane next chief of surgery.
You’ve mistaken an intern for an attending?
He was basically running the ER.
Id she moving out? Is there room for Amelia? You could take your old room, I could take my room, and Amelia could take Cristina’s.
No she’s selling the house with the children.
Sad widow is my friend. My best friend.
It’s my old phone. There is a voicemail on it. Password is 1515. And make sure you’re alone when you listen to it.
What’d the matter with you two?!
My husband died.
Today is the first day of your new job, and you have failed gloriously.
You have to teach them how to paddle their stupid feet.
You need a place to fall apart, I’ll be that place.
Jo, it’s a crime scene.
Sell Meredith her home back.
There’s no darkness in my life.
You should always come to me, cause I’m qualified to help you.
Come on, dance party.
No matter how dark it gets, the sun will rise again.

Revenge 4.23

Emily VanCamp explained on twitter that the dream sequence in which she got Victoria’s heart was just a nightmare, because I wanted it to be true. Getting your nemesis’ heart is the final ‘fuck you’ from the world. I wanted to write Victoria, but she wouldn’t have liked that either. The show ends with Victoria and David dying, Emily and Charlotte reconciling, Emily and Jack’s wedding and Nolan getting the last present from Ems. As the one happy thing about Revenge finale is that Nolan will continue avenging people.

RIP, Victoria Grayson. I will miss you dearly.

Goodbye, Revenge. You were good.

This has all started with Amanda Clarke changing her identity and ending with me changing mine.
Corpse I pass on as my own was my own mother.
It was only in death that my mother could do something good for her daughter.
You and I are the same.
Would you still approve of us today?
When this is all over, I’m gonna marry your daughter.
I died long before you were born. This is just a formality.
Well played, Ems. For the last time, well played.

SVU 26.22

Father kidnaps his son to teach him a lesson to never talk to strangers. When I heard the mother say he wanted to take him to Iran I immediately thought it would be like ‘Not Without My Daughter’, the scariest film ever starring the one and only Sally Field. The film who has been a subject of various discussions for many years and can come up in almost any conversation between my father and I. But it didn’t. Instead it wasn’t really an SVU case. Something the show has done more than half of the episodes this year. It’s definetely been the weakest season, but I believe it will get better next year.

To what do I owe the pleassure?
It was supposed to be a good lesson.

10/10

Nashville 3.22

I honestly think it was Beverly who died. I just wish we could get rid of the major storyline once and for all and just focus on the music. Layla smashing Jeff’s car seemed like such a Taylor Swift move, as she basically acted out the Blank Space video. Well, she was supposed to be the Taylor Swift to Christina Aguilera’s Katy Perry, so it works great. I am a little mad that Juliette has left Highway 65, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with her, she’s an artist first. She’ll worry about her kid once she repairs her carreer.

Screw you, screw you, definitely screw you, lady.
I Rayna James take you Deacon Claybourne as my husband. Now don’t you dare leave me a widow.
I will hold my head up high, you will never see me cry.
Good news! Will Lexington is gay and I’m going on tour with Luke Wheeler.

10/10

Castle 7.23

The final ceremony was touching, and yet not compelling enough to save this season. Kate having to choose between being a captain or a states attorney is just the craziest. And here we were thinking the big plans for Kate was her getting pregnant with little Castlets. We’ll see how it works out. I love that Alexis has inly one year of college left and she still doesn’t know what she wants to do, because I still don’t have a backup plan for my life, and all my friends had all those years back in high school.

Carreer achievement in homicide.
If it wasn’t for that day in the woods, because of him, would I even be here?
Most people think that writing is a solitary profession. The long hours, the blank pages.

10/10

Bates Motel 3.10

It just wasn’t my favorite season. I loved how Norman said ‘what have you done’ to his mother, yet my favorite scene was when Norma hit Norman in the head with a vase. I have always disliked Bradley, so I don’t have some confused feelings I probably should be having. It’s not like he killed Emma. Bradley was always slutty and annoying and did not even treat Norman well.

People are usually disapointing.
We’re all doomed at the end.
Especially about the whacko Norma Bates and her son.
Mother, there’s really something wrong with you, we talked about it, remember outside the motel.
Mother would like to talk to you.
Mother, what have you done.
I did her a favor, poor girl had a feath wish, and most importantly, she was gonna take you away from me. I could never let that happen.
We belong together.

10/10

Bones 10.19

A crazy episode, what’s with Iran this week. Second episode focusing around Iran. Bones kicked Booth out of the house as she and Christine got threatened by some guy Booth owed 30 000. I am a little surprised to be honest, while my dad said he totally deserved it. Now back to Bones, they haven’t mentioned Angela and Hogins’ move to Paris, so I’m just gonna pretend the talk never happened. I am surprised to see Camille so surprised about Arastoo’s religion. It’s the third episode when she’s geniunely surprised about the customs. Shouldn’t you read about your fiancees religion when you date him, not to mention she has a PhD and yet she acts all dumb. I expected more from her. I just can’t stand ignorance on basic things, as you really don’t have to read much to know the basics.

I love you.
I don’t believe you. Go.

8.5/10

The Good Wife 6.23

I am not going to get into that Alicia/Kalinda scene as everyone else is. We’ve known about their quarrel for some time now, and we tried not to let it get to us. Yes, they did not film together, now move on. I am excited for Alicia partnering with Canning. I hope she does, nothing could be more interesting now, as the show was almost as dull this year as season 1. But then at least we had our Alicia/Kalinda friendship. I want to see Alicia and Canning arguing cases against Diane and Cary. It hurts not to know what Kalinda will do with her life, we didn’t even get a first draft of what her future will look like. We can assume she’ll be okay, but we don’t know if she even stays in Chicago.

Did you know Louis Canning’s wife works here?
Ask A for possible cooking recepies.
Made me miss sitting in a bar deinking with you.
My time with you as a friend was the best.
I’m sorry it got messed up.
I’ll never see you again.
I don’t think so.
Damn you three!
It’s Kalinda’s letter to me.
It said goodbye.
What is it with all those tough talking women!?
Wanna partner?

10/10

Scandal 4.22

Chuck shot the whole bus of jurors. But I am so pissed at this finale as Fitz threw Mellie out of the White House! And not just Mellie, Cyrus too! And of course now he’s living with Olivia, in the White House! Wtf, Shonda? How is that possible!? I don’t think Huck is dead and I have had enough of B613. Sure keep the father but enough with the B613 talk. Also, Cyrus was the one who auctioned Olivia off.

Are you going to tell your team mate you added slaughter to your resume?
Is thia why you wanted Olivia Pope auctioned off?
So much for being good guys, huh, Rosen?
Me running aroung like Nancy Drew.
I can’t have a soul. If i had I would never accomplish anything.

10/10

The Simpsons 26.21

Stupid Flanders.
Uncle Homer is not nice to you.
If you take her hand, you’ll enter world of puberty.
Are you being bullied?
I hate Ned Flanders because he’s better than me in everything.

3.5/10

Younger 1.08

Liza has to get together with Mariska’s husband and let the kid go. I think she tells him the truth in episode 12, as Sutton wrote on twitter they have a serious scene (finally). I am glad we still have 4 episodes till the break, as we know half of the summer shows aren’t coming back till september (our guilty pleasures, light as summer – faking it and switched at birth). I love Hilary Duff’s character, she’s so fresh and brings light to the show.

I don’t want to be one of those women who wake up in their 40s realising they forgot to live their life.
Here you are in a totally different department.
Is he looking?
He sure is.
Can we put on our sweats and watch Downton Abbey?
I’m the one sleeping with your husband.
You sure you’re 26?

Hope Floats

Mae Whitman’s performance and her character’s storyline was what made it a film worth viewing. Without the daughter storyline, the film would be half as good. I loved how she set her mind on her father wanting to take her with him. I loved how she wouldn’t let go and kept putting her suitcases into the car, and how the father did not want her. I was surprised when someone else died, when they spent a few scenes on us getting to know the father. The kid telling her mother’s bachelerotte to leave her alone as her daddy was coming back for her and her couldn’t behave at the funeral and running to him just when the priest stopped speaking, was essence of the film. The girl getting beat up by the overweight girl for wearing glasses and accidentaly hitting her with a volleyball at P.E. and her cousin telling her mother that she lived, where necessary for the film. This was favorite performance by Mae after Parenthod, and she really should have gotten her part in Independence Day 2 and we all know it. I also was surprised how well the scenes where Bertie’s high school friends reacted to her public somewhat humiliation. They were all snarky and happy she wasn’t a prom queen anymore. Getting this on DVD for sure.

‘I know that I’m not what I once was. I know that! But I haven’t changed so much, that I would go and lie to someone that I love. God, I would walk through fire before I’d let them feel like they were nothing! And I would never break up anybody’s home. Because I am not a quitter. I care about my family!’

‘Childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome. That’s what momma always says. She says that beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it’s the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.’

8/10

Independence Day

Good enough, especially for a sci-fi film, yet lacked something. I enjoyed the cathastrophic and postapocalypic element of it, and yet it just did not seem real if you can say that about a scifi film. I hated that the one character I routed for did not make it. I loved that Mary’s character did not make it and a little Mae Whitman asked the Serpent and the Rainbow character if ‘Mommy’s sleeping now’. I watched a little of V and I love Contact, and adored Interstellar this year, yet I can’t quite swallow why was this one such a hit in the 90s and why do they want to make another one. But then, maybe I’ll never get alien movies, and that’s okay, I suppose. You can’t like them all.

7/10

American Reunion

I recently tried to watch Band Camp, the first part of American Pie that did not include the original cast, except Eugene Levy and it sucked so bad, I turned it off after 20 minutes. The original four though, are incredible. The reunion brought tears to my eyes, because it’s been 13 years from the first, we saw them all grown up, but not at all changed. There were parts I did not find quite as funny as the first two, but my favorite was when they got into a fight with the high school boys, and Michele went all get away from my husband, you shithead, and when Stiffler shamelessly shat into a guy’s portable refregirator. I hated that Fincher did not get together with Stifler’s mom or that Jim’s mom was dead. At least Stifler got back at Fincher by sleeping with his mom. When they walked into that reunion all in line, just like in high school, I cried. I need another part. They promised to see each other every year, as it looked like they haven’t really stayed in touch, at least not with Stifler.

6/10

Parental Guidance

I had it on DVD along with my new copy of Cheaper By The Dozen. I now have three Cheaper by the Dozen DVDs, and needlesly to say, It was not half as good as the latter. It was half as good as the CBtD sequel though. The one funny thing about this show was the scene at the customs were Bill Crystal’s character’s says ‘Let me make that easier for you as the customs guard was growping him, and then he coughed. A cute family film, you won’t probably watch again, unless you have it on DVD.

4.5/10

Yours, mine and ours

I am not gonna lie, and admitt it took me three tries to finish this film. That’s how boring it is. I am always down to watch new family films, but I should have just skipped this one. It lacked a major conflict, and the plot was neither funny nor interesting. The kids lack personalities the Bakers had in Cheaper By the Dozen.

2.5/10

Friday the 13th

I remembered so little from the remake that I decided to watch it, and along with it, the genius original. The original is almost as good as Halloween and is definitely one of five best horror films made. And man, does year ’79 look good, or what? Simple life, and those people have no idea what’s coming. I have never been a fan of the 21st century, and my country was in a real bad shape in the 70s and 80s, so I find 70s and 80s country side/small town films fascinating. It’s like I’m watching Moonlight Mile and feel like being the town’s only post office worker would actually be enough for me. It’s one of the films I watch a few times a year. Now going back to Friday the 13th, I always adored that the hitchiker gets killed before getting to the camp, and that they don’t show us the killer till the very end. I don’t remember my reaction once they showed out almost a decade ago when I watched it for the very first time. I wish they played it on TV, it’s unbelievable how hard it is to come across a 70s or 80s film anymore. Television stations should really understand that just because something is new does not mean it’s good and you really should not play it over and over again. Friday the 13th, if I hear they’re playing you on tv, I’ll tell every one to watch, because you are a real treat not only for horror fans. I am planning to rewatch the second, third and fourth part this month as I miss the simplicity of horror films.

10/10

Friday the 13th Remake

Not truly a remake, as this is just another killing, and the blondie from the original did not kill the lady in the woods, but over the pond. I hate how people try to present something in a new way, where they really just shouldn’t. Why was the summer house located so close to the Camp Blood? 20 years after the original deaths from 1958, town’s people are freaking out when they here the kids want to go there. They must have heard about the killings from over the years, and yet, no one warns them. Well, just one lady, but she doesn’t really warn them, she just tells the main boy to let Jason be. Now, Jason keeps one of the girls locked up as she looks like his mother. And he ties her up, yet listens to what she says in the end. Why would he tie her up then. I don’t know why kids think they can just take someone’s stuff. You are really brining it on yourself. Why was Danielle Panabaker listed as the first on in the credits, if she didn’t make it to the end?

5.5/10

It Follows

Everyone who says this is special, has not seen enough horror films. I have seen over 300 horror films in my life through classics, independent and crappy low budget ones, and let me tell you this was not good. Tension? Barely. Other that that, nothing special. We have seen kids screwing to get rid of a curse not once. I see all the similarities to at least ten films of the genre, I hear you when you say you tried to hire a Catherine Deneuve from Repulsion lookalike. But Repulsion is a masterpiece this could never be. And you did not cast a Deneuve lookalike, you casted a Gwen Stefani lookalike and that’s perfectly fine. But since when can you shoot a ghost? A mediocre film, and a slight disapointment.

The jury’s out! All of my shows except for Revenge got their renewals! I was scared for Bones and Castle as we weren’t sure if Stana was going to sign her contract and Bones is finishing its 10th season and in both cases the episodes got worse. I was afraid we’d lose Nashville as it was in danger last year. I followed ratings for every week and stressed about my shows like every year. We still haven’t heard about The Good Wife, but it’s a very safe bet, unless Julianna has somewhere else to be.

Congrats to Greys, SVU, Bones, Castle, Nashville, Secrets and Lies, The Simpsons, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder! See you all in the fall!

Greys 11.24

Reciting Webber’s first day of internship speech along with the characters. I hate the new interns already. How can you screw up on your first day? Meredith breaking down and throwing the charts broke my heart. Torturing my most favorite chracter like that? Kepner hauling the car and bringing it to the hospital is everything we wanted to see. Tunnel collapsed and Greys die hards see the ferryboat accident from season 3 in their head. Iasked my father if he remembers that episode and he remembered it as well as the shooting one in season 6. ‘Izzie had to drill in some guys head and didn’t kill him, and Meredith drowned.’ That’s right. What an episode. My second favorite after the bomb in the chest. This is what I expect to see next week. Lots of action.

Where we ever that young?
And so well rested.
And stupid.
And eager, like puppies.
Grey, you’re cleared. You’re going too.
I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t exist.
Damn it.
You were right, we can save him.

10/10

Revenge 4.22

Victoria is alive! I couldn’t be happier! Anxious about series finale next week. I need more Revenge.

10/10

Nashville 3.21

The Xs singed with Rayna! Rayna and Deacon thinking about the old love they shared and that fantastic song were all I needed from the show.

This is the right place for you.
You’re gonna be the Taylor Swift to her Katy Perry.
Bitch get 5 minutes at most.
Oh yeah cause who needs a great record deal.
Tell her I’m gonna have a ready album in 2 days.
And tell the highness she better not walk out on me when I deliver it.
Music has been there for all of us.
Let’s take this time we’ve wasted.

10/10

Castle 7.22

I cannot hear a Carly Rae Jepsen song and not think of Elsbeth Tascioni. And now maybe Castle.

Castle, there’s something wrong with you mother.
You’re just realising this now?
Come on boy, I’m gonna make your day.
Great parents teachers conference.
Something’s wrong with your mother.
I thought we already covered that.
You have earned it. Please don’t let some idiot with a self phone to take that away from you.
Martha Rodgers is amazeballs.

8/10

Bates Motel 3.09

Norma, don’t slip and fall into your pool. You may never get out.
This is not a pool. This looks like a bomb crater.
Having a hobby that includes cutting up dead things.
She thinks there’s something wrong with me
Is there something wrong with you?
Yes.
Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me.
Norman came to me and said that I raped him and then I realised he thought he was you.
There’s nothing wrong with Norman.
Norman is gonna kill someone and I just hope it isn’t you.
Goodbye, Norma Louise.

10/10

SVU 26.21

I love how it ended much more than the episode itself. There just wasn’t enough SVU work.

I told him daddy, the truth. That you never raped me.
I’m with Project Innocence.
Maybe it’s just easier to believe that your father didn’t rape you.
I don’t know, I was 6!
The truth is I don’t really remember.
We did the right thing
Did we?

4.5/10

Bones 10.17

Second favorite episode this season? Very relatable. Who let Bones sit at the yoga class and eat a yoghurt? And I don’t think the victims bones could get fractured by her obesity. Especially since the girl wasn’t that fat. She weighed less than 70 kg. Maybe she fell and her bones broke under her weight? More like it. Bullying that led to suicide, like I said, second favorite episode.

Again, not possible
I’m talking from my own expierience.
Bones fractured by her childhood obesity.
They pushed her to death.

10/10

Bones 10.18

This season had only a few good episodes and this is one of them. Still it’s more than season 9 did. But are Angela and Hodgins leaving?

I can watch the mini Booth.
NA. Narcotics Anonnymous, now we’re getting somewhere.
I remembered something Sweets said, serial killers’ first victims was closed to them.
Sweets used to say serial killers are compulsive and by nature, they can’t stop.
Tofu omlette.
I can make you a honorary squint.

9/10

The Good Wife 6.22

I’m gaving a crisis of confidence. A d it’s taking up all my time.
People aren’t staring at you. They’re too busy getting on with their lives.
I can’t take another failure.
In a few months it will be like it never happened.
My occupation now is beer drinker.
You were competitive.
There’s still something I miss about it. Looking at the law as something good.
Kalinda is gone.
I know.
Aha meaning yes?
Nobody ever tells the whole truth.
I worry about you when you sit at home.
I’m gonna have to work out of the apartment.
I’m starting my own firm, I’m only taking cases I strongly believe ina d I want you to join me.

10/10

Scandal 4.21

I don’t think the killing the vicepresident remark was a joke. I think they’re gonna do it. She brings trouble, questioning everything. I wanted Mellie to tell Fitz be should feel sorry for the rape victim and sympathise as Mellie was raped too. I loved that she stood behind rape victims in the end.

That woman was raped.
Hi Liv, I really need your help.
I’m a woman, why don’t I have women?
If Mellie Grant don’t show up on rape, we lose.
What about murdering your vice president? How long has that been illegal?
It would tell the world that we don’t condone rape
I wanna help, even though I’m not supposed to.
Rape is categorised as an occupational hazard.
She was raped, Fitz.
I believe that our daughters and sons deserve more.

10/10

The Simpsons 26.20

What is wrong with that Flanders kid, this season he wanted to marry his brother, little Maggie, and… his father.

You’re gonna stay your current ages for the rest of your lives.
How bad do you wanna sleep in on Saturdays?
I love you mean neighboor.
I knew there would be a sexist joke behind it. I knew it.
I’ll never grow up and marry Daddy!
These aren’t for children.now would you like a strawberry, bubble gum or watermelon favour?
You’ve been in there for 25 minutes!
Hunger Games. Elysium. Mockingjay. Children of Men.
Bart Simpson!
You just can’t protect your kids anymore.
Bart’s smoking E-cigarettes!
They are totally legal. Tell me does he like the bubble gum flavour or strawberry?

Younger 1.07

Peter Herman joins the cast and I want him with Liza. The young kid doesn’t have grown up interests.

200 pounds for used panties.
You were serving people?
You can’t degrade yourself.
Consider it an early Christmas bonus.

Secrets and Lies 1.10

A fantastic season finale, and the best episode of this show. I want to see Cornell put Abby in juvie so badly. Little brat and a killer.

I know you didn’t kill Tom.
You realize that by faulsifying a complaint, you’re making it hard for a woman who have been raped to come forward.
Abby is this blood on your sneakers?
I didn’t mean to! It was an accident.
Help! Somebody help!
Because she heard us fighting.
If Scott came back, you’d stay with mom.
What the hell are we gonna do?
She’s a baby.
She’s your sister.
And she killed my brother.
I won’t go. And if you try to make me, I’ll call Cornell.
It’s not your fault. You didn’t fail me.
Nat, you’re an amazing person, I’m fraid it’s in spite of me.
Nat needs a place to stay.
She saw the affection between you and I’m here to confess ti the murder of Tom Murphy.
Jess and then she smashed her phone to the ground.
Six blows to the head?
He did not kill Tom.
She had this plan for some time.
I just wanted to keep our family together.
Tom will not be her last victim.
Killers are getting younger every year.
I’m gonna put Abby Crowford away.
None of this would have happened if I just got Tom to the river.

Greys 11.22

I am hugely disapointed they didn’t ask Tyne Daly, Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh and Derek’s sisters to come to the funeral. And that they showed 2 seconds of it. Other than that, I can understand why Meredith ran away with the kids just like Ellis did.

10/10

Greys 11.23

I am speechless after that 2 hour Greys. I was just praying she wouldn’t give the baby up or slit her wrists.

My head is in pieces after that massive time jump. I don’t feel like putting all the problems of season 12 into one episode was a good idea. The entire experience I either saw my life passing by or felt I’ve just missed something. So where are we now? In February? It’s surprising how she named her child after mother she hated for so many years. Still,

Welcome to the world,

Ellis Grey Shepherd.

10/10

Revenge 4.21

Goodbye, Revenge, your first 3 seasons were amazing. And even though you pretty much sucked in season 4, I was still glad you stuck around.

The landscape of Hamptons will never be the same.
Can’t anybody follow a simple revenge plan?
I’ve decided to end my life.
She wanted to die in Grayson Manor.
Revenge free.
I found this case under the flipboard.
The Mason Tredwell who died in prison a year ago?
We’ll check your car for Mason’s fingerprints.
That bitch set me up! I’m innocent!

10/10

Nashville 3.20

Where’s Rayna, I need to talk to her.
Just you believe, it may all come true.
My brother raped you?
Juliette is doing something.
Welcome to my world.

7.5/10

Castle 7.20

You haven’t written a word in a week.
I’ve tried to put it behind. But it haunts me.
I was in Thailand getting shot at with Chuck Norris?
It’s Richard Castle, from Thailand.
That’s for making me miss my wedding.

10/10

Castle 7.21

Fantastic Castle this week. Very Non Stop-y, I loved when facetime on Castle’s ipad froze on his face just when he was giving that disdained look. I think Castle could go on without Stana, like this, with Castle and Alexis solving every case.

10/10

SVU 16.20

Excellent and I didn’t see it coming.

Oh good, she’s still alive. Don’t you just hate when you kidnap a girl and she just won’t stop movong in your back seat?
Nadia is a nice kid. You know what he’s doing to her now?
Don’t go there. That never helps.
Please don’t kill me. I’ll do whatever you want.
All girls say that.
Where he could do whatever he wanted to do with her.
Some place sacred. Search the woods.
They have been here for years.
We’ve got her.
She was raped and tortured and transported to his burial ground.

10/10

Bates Motel 3.08

10/10

Bones 10.16

No no. There’s no such thing as chest bone.
My two favorite customers, I’ve feed you every day for 10 yrs.
Are you kidding me? Two of my favorite collegues winning the lottery!
I guess I’m just looking for a reason all of this is happening.
Are you smelling something?
I’m trying not to.
Smell you later.
I had no idea you were so talented.
Sometimes I surprise myself.
No, unless he was murdered by a double cheesburger.

9.5/10

The Good Wife 6.21

I thought we had two more episodes before Kalinda’s exit. Goodbye, Kalinda.

Only in America, if you’re a grandmother you go to jail, if you’re an addict, you go to rehab.
The disk was not ejected properly.
Not to mention those emails she sent.
I won’t be in.
Life’s to short to be mad.
Goodbye.

10/10

The Simpsons 26.19

Can’t get a sitter, cause our kids are nuts.
Your brother is stupid, bye bye.
I saved you.
But you pushed me!

10/10

Younger 1.06

If you’re 40 or older proceed at your own risk.
I saw everytjing on twitter.

5/10

Secrets and Lies 1.09

The problem is, I don’t think Crawford killed anyone.
So he drowned. The boy couldn’t swim.
And then she chased him back there where he died.
Tom’s killer’s female.
What are the odds of having two dead children.

10/10

Chicago PD 2.20

Dick Wolf got a new spin off. Chicago Med, i might just check you out. And I want to start Chicago PD this summer.

Sophia does not have brown hair. What happened in SVU after this is a masterpiece.

My ex partner questioned him 10 years ago.
I’m glad you told me, I was planning on stealing the cup there.
What brings you to Chicago?
Employment.

9/10

Chicago Fire 3.20

I could never watch this show. Being burned to death is just the worst way to go.

Somebody raped her and left her for dead.
L’ombre robbed and stabbed me.
She was raped and whoever did it tried to cover it by fire.
I had a case like that 10 years ago.

Welcome to ReviewThisFilm

This website started as weekly reviews on movies and tv episodes, and a diary of the 700 new films I watched every year. Today it’s a place for me to write a few words on films and tv shows that leave some sort of impact on me. I no longer write in depth reviews, partially thanks to bad habits gained by spending many hours a day on Letterboxd, and partially because of my demanding day job.

If you have a film you would like me to watch and review,  please leave a comment.

Enjoy!

About me

I am the dark and twisty Meredith Grey, the mad Dexter Morgan, hoping to grow up to be a little more like the wise, but fun Nora Walker. I am an aspiring filmmaker. My favorite actresses are Jodie Foster, Sally Field and Julianne Moore. Favorite genre – psychological drama. I watch anything with a sexual or mental abuse plot. I used to be a horror freak. I am obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy, SVU and many more. My other interests include making oil and pencil portraits and wildlife conservation. I cannot say no to beautiful landscapes, travel, Aussie accent, TV/film quotes and avocados. I have recently moved back from Australia to the UK. I’ve been running this blog for the last 9 years. Here I comment on films and episodes I watch. Enjoy! – Joanne

favourite film and tv quotes

‘When I lived in Porpoise Spit, I used to sit in my room for hours and listen to ABBA songs. But since I’ve met you and moved to Sydney, I haven’t listened to one Abba song. That’s because my life is as good as an Abba song. It’s as good as Dancing Queen.’ (Muriel’s Wedding)

‘I used to think about
your life in New York. I tried to imagine your room. I kept track of the time difference, so I  knew when you were awake and when you were asleep.’ (Disobedience)

‘Nothing’s clean, Howard. But we do our best, right?’ (The Aviator)

‘No, I’m not quitting. I don’t quit things.’
‘No, actually you do. Your mother quit your father. Your father quit you. You quit your boyfriend and if I read your hospital chart correctly you quit your life momentarily on a couple of occasions. You quit. It’s what you know how to do.’ (Greys)

‘Where the hell was I that year?’
‘Your were watching television’. (Everybody Loves Raymond)

‘It’s impossible to worry about anything else when there’s blood coming out of you.’
(Short Term 12)

‘I wanted it to happen. And when we were girls… Even then, it was the same. It’s always been this way! I have always wanted it.’ (Disobedience)

‘Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes you play games in your head. You make up someone, someone good.’ (Greys)

‘There comes a moment when our lives change forever. The moment we admit our weaknesses, the moment we rise to a challenge, the moment we accept a sacrifice, or let a loved one go. And sometimes the change in our lives is an answer to our prayers.’ (Desperate Housewives)

‘Yesterday I went to the movies all day by myself. One after the other. I’ve never done that before. I had a really happy day.’ (Doing Time for Patsy Cline)

‘I just need something to happen. I need a sign that things are going to change. I need a reason to go on. I need some hope. And in the absence of hope, I need to stay in bed a feel like I might die today.’ (Greys)

‘She saved me my whole life. Without her, I’m nothing.’ (The Favourite)

‘Don’t wonder why people go crazy. Wonder why they don’t. In face of what we can lose in a day, in an instant, wonder what the hell it is that make us hold it together.’  (Greys)

‘Bree sobbed quietly in the restroom for five miutes, but her husband never knew, because when Bree finally emerged, she was perfect.’ (Desperate Housewives)

‘I am not food, you cannot just eat and eat.’ (The Favourite)

‘I don’t love him.’
‘Of course you do.’
‘No!’
‘Don’t take me for a fool Olive,  I’m many things but I’m not a fool.’
‘I know that, you’re brilliant.’
‘Don’t you see, it’s over. Whatever this is, was, it’s over.’
‘I love You.’ (Professor Marston and the Wonder Women)

‘At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing, is reason enough to celebrate.’ (Greys)

‘Many years ago, a neighbour and a good friend of ours took her life, and that left us all heartbroken and perplexed. But somehow, when I was alone in that hotel room, I forget about all the pain that she caused. In those awful moments, I thought maybe she had the answer.‘ (Desperate Housewives)

‘What happened last year when you fell in the water?’
‘I almost drowned. Do you think I did that for kicks?’
‘You put your hand in a body cavity that contained unexploded ammunition.’
‘I was trying to save a patient!’
‘Why is it that every other person in that room had the sense to hit the deck? You know people run away from this line between life and death. You seem to stand on it and wait for a strong wind to sway you one way or the other. You’re careless with your life. You’re not slitting your wrists but you’re careless. Probably because your mother told you you were a waste of space on this planet. The problem is you believed her. And if you don’t want out one of these days you’re going to die because of it.’  (Greys)

‘This is the street where I used to live and these were the people with whom I shared my life. I met them the day they moved in. And I saw what they brought with them. Beautiful dreams for the future. And quiet hopes for a better life. Not just for themselves, but for their children, too. If I could, would I tell them what lies ahead? Would I warn them of the sorrow and betrayal that lie in store? No. From where I stand now, I see enough of the road to understand how it must be traveled. The trick is to keep moving forward, to let go of the fear and the regret that slow us down and keep us from enjoying a journey that will be over too soon. Yes, there will be unexpected bends in the road, shocking surprises we didn’t see coming, but that’s really the point. Don’t you think?’ (Desperate Housewives)

‘Was your life not working when you let that slip out from under you?’
‘When are you going to stop suggesting that I’m suicidal?’
‘When you start acting like someone that wants to be alive.’
‘Give me my chart.’
‘Why?’
‘Because I’m not suicidal, and if it says that I am, then it’s wrong.’ (Greys)

‘There is nothing wrong with me.’
‘Then show me your arm.’ (Degrassi)

‘Look, my whole life, I have been the freak. The girl who nobody picked for dodgeball. The girl who didn’t have a mom. The girl who dressed funny because it was her dad buying her clothes. And then, tonight I looked at these people, and I thought maybe there’s a future where I don’t have to be a freak. Maybe I can be who I am and that’s okay.’ (Everything Sucks)

‘Dr, I have been this way since…since I can remember. There is no cure.’ (American Horror Story)

‘He was so crazy about me, I couldn’t breathe. So we tried drinking our way back into love, but it never made sense in the morning. So I ran. And every time I came back, he was here. And he was still crazy about me.’ (My Blueberry Nights)

‘Bree van de Kamp had always wanted to live her life with elegance and grace. That is also how she wanted to die. Her plan was to pour herself a glass of her favorite chardonnay, put on her most stylish nightgown and leave behind a note on embossed stationery.’ (Desperate Housewives)

‘All we have is this moment. The future is just a fucking concept that we use to avoid being alive today. So be… here…. now.’ (Six Feet Under)

‘On the train coming here, we were in the same cart, I saw you, you were reading and you feel asleep. I didn’t dare to look at you, you were so beautiful, it was scary. Afterwards,  I couldn’t stop thinking about you. It made me smile. Then I thought of all the men who would get to hold you, who’d make you laugh. How lucky they were.’ (Enemy at the Gates)

‘It was a good day. Maybe even a great day. Even when it was hard, I was the me in my head. There was a moment when I thought I cant do this, I cant do this alone. I close my eyes and imagine myself doing it, and I did, I blocked out the fear, and I did it.’ (Greys)

‘There comes a time when we must expose our weaknesses. When our secrets can no longer remain private, when our solitude can no longer be denied, when our pain can no longer be ignored, but sometimes we feel so alone that a weakness we thought we’d overcome suddenly becomes too strong to fight.’ (Desperate Housewives)

‘Why did you get married, Esti? Why didn’t you just leave? So everything was all right when I left?’
‘No. I was ill.’
‘What sort of ill?’
‘In my head.’
‘If I had to sleep with a man, why not with our best friend?’
‘Oh, Esti…’
‘It hasn’t been a complete disaster.’
‘And that’s enough?! Do you have to have sex every Friday?’
‘It’s expected.’
‘It’s medieval. What happened to you?’
‘Nothing. You happened to me. And then I started teaching and that became important. I give them ambition.’
‘To do what? Push out seven babies and be a good wife?’
‘Don’t. Don’t. I help them to value themselves.’
‘Okay, but what about you?’
‘That is me. And you? Are you happy?’
‘Yes, I am.’
‘Have you been with other women?’
‘No. Not really. And you?’
‘No.’
‘But, Esti… Do you still
only fancy women?’ (Disobedience)

‘OK, then, listen. Let’s not get caught.’
‘What are you talkin’ about?’
‘Let’s keep goin’!’
‘What d’you mean?’
‘Go.’
‘You sure?’
‘Yeah. Yeah.’ (Thelma & Louise)

‘She let me live at Nora’s house. She let me believe that I was a part of their family. I fell in love with that family. What am I supposed to do, just sit there, pretend I’m related to them? I was happy. For the first time in my life I was happy.’ (Brothers and Sisters)

‘You will be left all alone with your bitterness and your rage and your knowledge that you loved her and she loved you and you threw it away for them.’
‘Do you love her?’
‘Yes.’
‘And Have you always?’
‘Yes.’
‘So then ask her.’
‘Olive, will you forgive me?’ (Professor Marston and the Wonder Women)

‘No razors, no scissors, no fucking freedom.’
(Short Term 12)

‘You can’t take a picture of this. It’s already gone.’ (Six Feet Under)
