I would much more like it if it was more of a drama not love story, but everything about it was just right.
In one way or another I’ve always suffered. I didn’t know why exactly. But I do know that I’m not so scared of suffering now. I feel more than I’ve ever felt and I’ve found someone to feel with. To play with. To love in a way that feels right for me. I hope he knows that I can see that he suffers too. And that I want to love him.
Each cut, each scar, each burn, a different mood or time. I told him what the first one was, told him where the second one came from. I remembered them all. And for the first time in my life I felt beautiful. Finally part of the earth. I touched the soil and he loved me back.
Why do you cut yourself, Lee?
I don’t know.
Is it that sometimes the pain inside has to come to the surface, and when you see evidence of the pain inside you finally know you’re really here? Then, when you watch the wound heal, it’s comforting… isn’t it?
I… That’s a way to put it.

A lonely place to die
The first and second act, all the woods scenes are absolutely agitating, but then there is just too much shooting.
8/10
Norma Rae
One of those films, that change your life. I had an occasion to see it a few times before, but this time it was different, as the last time I saw it, it was about two years ago, before Sally and Beau stared together on Brothers and Sisters, and it was a nice surprise to see him here, now I’m going to enjoy watching Nora and Brody scenes even more. A beautiful inspirational story and one of my ten best and most favorite films ever made.
10/10
Painful Secrets
The main character makes every self harmer look like a psycho. Mean girls at school pulling up her sleeves, excellent. Mother’s portrait very realistic and well presented, but ending with the mother moving out, not possible.
You mutilate your own arm and you have no idea why you do it?
5/10
Carjacked
Through most of the film, I was telling myself, that’s what I would do, that’s what makes this movie good. No surprises here, Maria Bello makes the story appealing, again.
8/10
The Yellow Handkerchief
Don’t we just all love dramas like this, peaceful, with no everyday drama, pretending, sweet-talking, just living.

Welcome to the Rileys
A family helping a troubled young girl, after the loss of their own.
7/10
The Messagner
I remember being a kid seeing the trailer of it at the cinema thinking, I gotta see this one, and after 5 years I finally got to. It was pretty average, and then the guy who was helping them turned out to be the head of the family who died there. And that story never gets old, from the masterpiece The Shining to the newest Seven Below. We’ve seen it, we like it and always will. The fighting part was too short, but the scenery was breathtaking.
6/10
The woman in black
The opening scene, a big yes. Climate, scenography, a huge yes. 25 minutes into the film, ‘this feels like Harry Potter’ The woods seen from Deathly Hallows or or labyrinth from Goblet of Fire. I love how instead of suicide note says, self murder. ‘You could have saved him’. The ending may have swept me of my feet a little bit, though we knew she was not gone.
8.5/10
Panic Room
Where’d you learn that? Titanic. I would definitely carry the phone with me, and I know it was 2001, but c’mon she had a cellphone. The idea of actually hiding in a panic room, smart. A very good thriller, is it wrong that I felt bad for the black guy character?
9/10
Chernobyl
Extreme tourism, no thank you. Nothing like Paranormal Activity, which is a good thing. I always tend to put myself in the characters shoes, and if I were one of them, I would just keep walking, 20km? not more than 8 hours by foot. Why the hell did they stop to take these cables, and come back? No idea. Going back for your friends, another bad idea. Giving a gun to a blonde chick who will not use it, no way, you do realize you will need it more, right? If I were them, I would be selfish, and just keep on going. To go or to stay? Always go. Bad thing, not once did they think about being affected by radiation, and instead of picking the woods, they pick some buildings, of which construction they have no idea of. The chick ending up in the same cell as more infected people, a little too much. I do think the whole idea of Chernobyl, the story not well used. The radiation did a lot of harm, and it would be better if they showed the mutation, and went with something like, people really living here, not just patient escaping theory. Ignoring all the disadvantages and thanking myself for seeing it at the cinema, hell yeah. One of the best horror films this year.
9/10
The Treatment
The film has some sweet moments, but nothing special.
6.5/10
Silent House
Well I clearly did not see it coming, we could expect the main character to be a psychopath, but child molestation and abuse, very nice. I know that Mary-Kate and Ashley never got to be in a horror, but after Lizzie’s performance, I can definitely say we will hear about her, and in a few years, she may be a star, who’s carrier we will follow on daily basis.
7/10
The Innkeepers
The atmosphere was good, and we all love hunted motels, but this movie lacked scare, and when it was, there was a disappointment. The story was badly told, and nothing was clearly answered, but we could analize everything, and come up with an answer that made sense. It may see too tangled, but it is there. The final scene, I saw a bad version of it, but the portrait of Sara’s character was too bright, and definitely did not bring any chills, the sudden door closing does though.
7/10
I don’t know how she does it
I was disappointed with this one, but to watch her have everything under control and her struggle for everything to stay that way was bearable, bad thing it was a comedy.

New Year’s Eve
Oh, thank God, it was not as bad as Valentine’s Day. I was thinking how to grade it and I think the best way is to assess each story seperately. I have watched this film for Hilary Swank, so her character is where I am going to start. Hilary and Robert de Niro, I have no idea why in all those multistory films, someone has to die, but the story was good, all of it. Michele Pfeiffer and Zac Efron, I thought I would like it but I did not, but I loved Michelle’s dancing at the end. But what are you doing, I’m twice your age.’ pretty much spoiled the whole atmosphere. Halle Berry’s story, can we even count it as a sperate story it was so short, and we have seen it already. Wait a minute, didn’t Julia Roberts have like the very same storyline in Valentine’s Day? Jessica Biel and Sara Paulson, it was pretty annoying at times, but interesting in general. Katherine Heigl and Jon Bon Jovi, average, but Sofia Vergara killed it, every time. Sarah Jessica Parker, Abigail Breslin and Jake T Austin, no surprises here, and the only thing I liked, was the scene when the girl sees the guy kissing someone else, turns around crying, and there’s her mother. Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michelle, cliché and nothing special. Josh Duchamel and Sara Jessica Parker, I clearly did not see that one coming. What I also liked was Hector Elizondo’s character, the way Hilary and Josh’s characters almost run into each other, and did in bloopers. As it is my favorite day of the year, I may be a little biased, but no shame here, I just like this day too much.
Nothing beats New York on New Years Eve.

Head of State
There are no surprises here, when I say that I only saw this movie, because Stephanie March is in it, no shame here. The problem is she was the only good thing about this film, the dialogues were lacking, the script was crushing, and I may have been too exhausted when I was watching it, as it was already 1am, because in normal circumstances, I would just turned it off. It was not disastrous, till the character’s brother became his associate, then it was just too much and too unrealistic. The best scene:
‘Can I have a massage?’ ‘Yes!’

The Party Never Stops: Diary of a binge drinker
We can see that it was aimed for teens, as the story is easy and lacks a lot. I was actually satisfied and a bit sad for what happened to her friend.
5/10
Invention of Lying
The beginning was actually satisfying, but when the character reads his play, it all starts crashing. The idea was not so bad either, but it was not well lead. The scene with Stephanie March was too hilarious.
Some days I stay in bed eating and crying.
I been throwing up painkillers all night, because I’m too afraid to take enough to actually kill myself.
You’re a little man-bitch.
Pepsi – when they don’t have coke.
Listen, I am not attracted to you.
The world is gonna end unless we have sex right now.
Do we have time to go to a motel, or do we have to do it right here?
Your baby is so ugly, it’s like a little rat!

Piranha 3DD
I have to say, maybe I have overrated the first part, cause this one was a huge disappointment. The story was bad, killings too short. The film was so ridiculous that it was hilarious. I laughed my ass off. as it was that stupid. I am giving it a one extra point for David Hasselhoff, who was amazing and funny. So to everyone who says it’s the worst film of the year, no it isn’t. Check , that was disastrous. Piranha 3DD is a COMEDY, and it is one.
People are dying! Do something!
First of all, I’m not a lifeguard. Never was. Secondly, that was what natural selection’s all about.
Josh cut off his penis because something came out of my vagina!”
You went back in the water. You little ginger moron.
Holy fuck, I’m getting old.
I’m not afraid of some punk ass water.
Holy flying baby shit.
Welcome to rock bottom.
