Woah, I’m really behind. That’s probably, because I watched 61 films in January instead of writing here and watching only 40. I’ll do better since all the shows start again later this week. I wish I could watch the shows on a big screen and type on my laptop at the same time, like I did this week, when I watched Pretty Little Liars on Netflix and typed on my laptop. Also, I finally found the rest of my old notes.

SVU 17.14/Chicago PD 3.14

Congrats to SVU on Season 18 renewal! Rednik and Yates pulled a Shawshank. How did they fit through that small hole we’ll never know. Yates and Rednik were on of my favorite serial killers out of all cop shows. William Lewis was fantastic too. Nothing beats The Gravedigger from Bones though. I mean sure I liked Palant on Bones too, but not the third one they intoduced later, and I can’t stand the 3XK and the senator on Castle. You see what I’m getting at. I don’t watch Chicago PD, I tried, but I found it boring, so I wasn’t really concerned about Lydia’s death back in May. I am definitely going to miss Yates. How is it that SVU got rid of both of their biggest serial killers? I am definitely downloading all the Yates and Rudnik episodes to analize. I liked it better when Yates was hooked on Rollins instead of Lyndsey. I was surprised Yates didn’t rape his victims, except for the trooper of course. The SVU episodes was much better than the Chicago PD one and Erin was making lots of irrational decisions.

The Middle 7.14

The episode itself was quite average, but Sue not being able to pitch in for all the things the roomate wanted to buy was very relatable. Frankie has gotten more grumpy this season. I need Brick’s T-shirt saying ‘Some of my best friends are fictional’. When Brad said ‘I can’t make love to probably’ to Frankie I simply could not stop laughing.

Sue was actually getting the roomate she wanted.
He said I’m going places.

So Hanna watches Downton Abbey because her boyfriend is British, steryotyping much? Hanna and Aria took Ashley’s house apart, they went through her serial? Who hides a drive in cereal? Stash of moisturisers would be nice.

I can’t seem to get the old wordpress dashboard to show up. I have been using it instead of the new one for the last three years. Here is quick part one of the missing notes on the episodes I misplaced during my move. I’ll post the second half tomorrow, as I can’t sit still any longer without watching the new SVU. I haven’t posted them earlier, as I have been busy with watching all the nominated films before the Golden Globes, and then I decided to watch 7 seasons of The Middle and here I am.

Bones 11.08

I’m still trying to figure out what on Earth happened to Bones. Why has it been such a drag these last couple of seasons? Remember season 4? Remember season 6? Season 1? Anything in between? I don’t want to think of it most likely ending this season, because o Emily and David’s lawsuit, but the writers really need to step up with the cases, or we’ll say goodbye to what once was my fourth favorite show.

I’m not buying you a jet ski so you could kill yourself riding around like a 16 year old.

The show got a lot funnier since Ryan shot Esposito in the ass. Someone watched The First Wives Club too many times.

I can’t believe the finale is next week. And yet another 4 month break. This episode they did a skull transplant. Webber being Arizona’s wing man was almost as good as the elevator scene, where Mer told the new McDreamy that her story is too long to tell and when she told Owen she promised Cristina she wouldn’t let him go all dark and twisty. Also Maggie explaining racism and white privelege to Amelia.

Right on top of my notes it says, ‘The pastor, right?’ and indeed that was the case. One of the best episodes this season, but I really thought brother was the rapist just like in the Dugglars’ case.

Beautiful finale, but they should have went deeper into Thomas’s suicide attempt. I know he’s just the help, but It would be nice to see the emotional fallout. I hope Barrow will be Little Goerge’s Carlson. Sprout will write to Edith’s magazine, under a female nickname. Can’t wait for the Christmas episode.

Bonnie’s past and Asher covering up rape is all I care about this season. Is Annalise Wes’s mother? Is that what they’re tryng to say? Is that why he got added to the program from the waitlist? Was Annalise checking all her potential students and then saw him and added him from the waitlist. What are the chances that a son would follow his mother’s footsteps without knowing anything about her? Also, the lady who committed suicide was not his biological mom. Are they saying Annalise got pregnant from rape when she was a little girl?

Hi guys. I know I haven’t been reviewing films, (or writing proper reviews of shows either) since summer, but I will once the year ends. I have seen 253 films this year, and I want to make it to 300 by 2016. Here are some reviews I had time to rewrite today, some are missing, but will get posted on the weekend.

Greys 12.05

Oh the ugly dinner. Why are we keeping Derek’s killer on? And the bitch had the audacity to come back and pee in Mer’s bathroom. Shonda is making such a mistake hiring her. Best episode this season.

Amanda’s sister is now a hooker. When she said ‘you were raped on the job’ I wished I could punch her through my screen. She never would have been raped if she didn’t have to protect your stupid ass. Also their mother is not much better as it turns out with her ‘maybe by then you’ll learn the value of family’. Important to point out: Kimmy convincing their mother it’s her agent calling her not her pimp. The new sergant is annoying and does not know anything.

I am said the second halfof season 4 flew by so quickly. I know I would have appreciated this show more If they played it as always, during summer, so no other shows get in the way. And I’m disapointed, as it may mean that we won’t get new episodes in January, but March or something.

Hi guys, welcome back to liveoffmovies. Fall Season is in its full and I’ve been taking my sweet time not posting my reviews. My bad. I was working two shifts, focusing on an internship, I only yesterday realized, I did not want. Plus I was busy moving to my new house. Now that it’s all mostly done, here are some long overdue reviews. The rest of the episodes (over 30 now!) will be posted later next week, once I do my taxes and figure out how to fill in the new expenses form and buy a washing machine and get everything not working in my new house fixed. Uff listing all of these was tiring enough. Thankfully only half of the shows I watch premiered new episodes this week, and Switched at Birth is already on a break, so I’ll have time to catch up with my posting schedule very soon.

First of, Gilmore Girls is coming back! GG got a revival! First Full House, now Gilmore Girls. Thanks, Netflix. Life is good.

Second of all, The Whispers was cancelled. Now we’ll never know what happened to Claire and the kids.

Thirdly, let’s talk about the new season of AHS and why I’ve decided to quit it. I am a huge horror freak and I have always been, but at the same time I have never been a fan of the vampirism genre. I couldn’t follow Buffy or Charmed, never started True Blood or Vampire Diaries. There are a few vampire films that I have enjoyed, like Nosferatu, The Hunger, Fright Night, The Lost Boys, Dracula, 30 Days of Night, or Stake Island, but not enough to explore the genre any further. Furthermore, I am a huge fan of Jessica Lange, and watching the first two episodes of the series, I kept thinking of who her character would be. What we were most scared of, happened. The show got bad without Jessica. The first four seasons were relatable to some extend, season two, even though, my favorite, the least. There are a few shows that I had to talk myself into watching for a couple of episodes, and then, continued watching, because it would be weird to stop. I have tried watching the first episode of the fifth series twice, and that has barely ever happened before. Pilots are supposed to be the intriguing, or even the best episodes. And finally, to quote my father, I have no time for some mediocre fairytale that does not concern me. Which is why, I say goodbye to American Horror Story, at least till next year.

Bones 11.01

I have been disapointed with Bones for the last couple of seasons, probably since season 7, as nothing new ever happened. I am furious that no one is mourning Booth’s brother, because I still remember when season 4 came out and Jared helped save Booth. I remember season 4 too well, as back then the episodes were pretty spectacular, and now they’re all the same. ‘Booth was beaten as a child’ automatically reminded me of Sweets and the episode when he accidentaly showed B&B his back, and Brennan talked about the foster parents who used to lock her up, and now I’m getting nostalgic over, yet again, season 4. Kim Raver guest stars, I’m not sure she’s done anything else than 24 after Teddy left to Germany on Greys.

Please leave me with the bones.

I have more questions than answers which is unusual.
That one is Booth’s.

The cases are disastrous this season. Nothing new. Mariska all breathing heavily after walking up those stairs, very relatable.

The only way I could have been more shocked is if they told us Cragen is the father, instead of Declan. Good case, not told as well as we’d expect from this incredible show.

Entertaining, and that’s all we need from this type of show. Who knows who killed the guy though?

Scream Queens 1.03

It was a hilarious episode, nicely surprised. Also, Texas Chainsaw ladies and gents. I absolutely adore all the ED insults. I have a friend who has quit this show saying it’s dumb, and she continues to watch AHS, while I can’t stand it. Scream Queens is light and fun, and it has Jamie Lee Curtis, and surprisingly well written for this kind of show, and I have actually missed it this week. Life is too stressful not to watch a few light shows.

Femke’s character, reminded me of Shirley Maclaine’s character in The Children’s Hour, I bet it’s gonna be one of my favorite storylines this season. Sadly, they let her go.

I love how they show us that a straight woman may fall for a woman without being gay. Annalise isn’t bisexual, she just has a weakness for her ex. I don’t think she’ll be hooking up with any other woman. Can we keep Femke on full time? ‘I’m not gonna know you next year’ describes every shared accomodation leaving ever.  You’re just thrown together by an accident, and you won’t keep in touch with most people you meet. Denying ‘thinking about the one that got away every other day’ is what we all do and have to live with.
