Castle was cancelled, at least they won’t have to kill Beckett off.

Nashville was cancelled too, after escaping death the last three years.

Grandfathered was cancelled.

The Family was cancelled after just one season! I know ratings were bad, but the show itself isn’t.

And The Catch was surprisingly renewed.

I’ve lost especially lot shows this year. It started with Downton Abbey, then The Good Wife, then it was announced Bones is ending next year, then Switched at Birth and now all these.

Reviews of this year’s seasons will be posted with my ratings the minute all the shows go on hiatus.

I’m picking out new shows to watch over summer. Sure I’m excited for Scream, but other than that there’s only Pretty Little Liars. Since you know, Orange is the New Black is a one day thing. I haven’t seen Grace and Frankie yet and I’m trying to figure out which shows to start this summer. I’m thinking Weeds, Awkward, The Goldbergs and catching up on Ray Donovan. I definitely want a few more as that’s the only way I can survive work. I tried watching Buffy, but I just wasn’t interested like the other 5 times I started watching it. Episode 2 and I was already unimpressed. I will probably watch something from Netflix, Rake, Miss Fishers Mysteries and we’ll see what else. I wanted to give Everwood a try but it was just as boring as Summerland. I will probably catch up on 90210, I stopped watching after season 3. I’m afraid I won’t find a new show and I’ll be stuck rewatching the 75 shows I’ve followed over the years.

Speaking of shows I’m not watching, I watched that episode of CSI:Cyber that had Spencer Locke in it and it was quite good. Spencer is the only ex-teen actress who’s career I’ve been following since Resident Evil 3 circa 2007, from project to project (she was amazing in Landmine Goes Click, a great rape-revenge horror). I gave the episode 8.5/10, but it did not convince me to start watching the show, it was just cancelled too.

Castle 8.18

I am starting with Castle this week, because as you saw above, it has been cancelled. This episode was actually fun. Some of them just are, as this is more of a comedy show than a crime series. It focuses around Aladin and Castle is all over Jin’s lamp. How did they even do research for this episode?

Greys 12.21

Since when are there so many stairs? And since when is the hospital painted red? I really thought it was the court’s building, not the hospital! Shonda’s shows are always sex crazed, last episode was about Stephanie and her naughty sex life with the patient and this week everyone saw Owen’s package. I really hope Bailey doesn’t divorce Ben. Arizona is my favorite character since Meredith took Callie’s side.

Tucker had a fit.
Very PG, nothing like we saw this morning.
Did you hear about the fake leg? I’m probably not the best runner in a crisis.

We’re saying goodbye to Nashville and this is what they show us? I know they booked Elton John for episode 4.20, but the story lines are just awful this season. Maddie is a brat, I can’t believe she got emancipated. Also little Daphne just lost a recording contract thanks to Maddie. I bet Rayna will make her wait till she’s 18 to sign her independently.

The Middle 7.22

The Middle has 24 episodes this season? I’m impressed. It’s the most underrated comedy show out there, and it’s sad that so little people watch it. Season 7 was a challenge, since both Axl and Sue are out of high school, and let’s be honest there’s only so many things you can come up with to do in college. High school years were always fun, especially for Sue. But then when you think about it, Sue makes even college cool. I mean Axl’s story lines are always so boring, just what college years are for people. There’s always something happening with Sue, even though I feel like there could be even more.

Who even eats lettuce. A rabbit?

Only the ‘understanding a pedophile and a sex crime victim parts are good. No one cares about the election. In this episode the extremely annoying and slutty reporter found Ben’s biological mother, while Claire found out it was Ben who killed Adam.

None of this makes me a kidnapper, at most it makes me a country song.
Just enough to build your trust, so it was confusing when he crossed the line.
We both know how this is gonna end for me. It’s not in a hug.

The show started off nicely, and now it’s a mess. I am only happy that Paget and John’s characters are getting together! And I Josh Peck is hilarious, check him out on Vine.

I still haven’t seen the season finale and I only finished watching 3.07 this week. This just shows how uneventful this show is.

I always thought it would be easy to be a writer.

It’s a pretty boring show, and the only reason I’m still watching is who they cast as the leads. Mireille Enos and Peter Krause. My mom always says Lauren Graham’s boyfriend is so handsome, my dad says that’s Adam and I am happy to see Linden back on my screen.

He doesn’t ask for anything, so you give him everything.

Why are all the kids the same age? There’s maybe 2 or 3 years between the youngest and oldest kid in the class and all they learn is kindness and respect. I’ll have a When Calls the Heart marathon tomorrow as I haven’t seen the remaining 4 episodes.

I can’t believe it, Faking It has finally had a good episode. And the one after it is even better! This hasn’t happened in forever. What’s with the ‘hump’ video, why would anyone do it? Was it some sort of a commercial or something?

The finale, oh boy. Remember how everyone was saying that in the book Ali had a twin? Yep, someone else does.

Aria and Ezra hooked up and Hanna and Caleb kissed, yes. The flashback to Hanna running to tell Caleb she’s wrong was cute, one of the best scenes this crappy half season. Also, old picture with Caleb’s long hair also gets a point. It won’t be a big spoiler if I say one of the liars is taken by the new A.

I should have checked the floors.

Fuller House has been renewed for season 2! After just 5 days! Are you guys just loving it?

Since I’m going on a holiday this Saturday, here’s part 1 of the remaining reviews.

Greys 17.11

The little Kepner wanting to have 3 children was adorable. Why on Earth didn’t she say she was pregnant? I honestly never could stand Avery, now it’s pure hate.

A case about a tacher sleeping with her students, meanwhile a wrestling coach sexualy assaults boys.

One of the best episodes this season where Olivia goes to the house of a family her babysitter works for, and ends up being one of the hostages. The 16 year old daughter is raped, and Olivia once again cannot stop the rapist. The mother then calls and asks how are their kids and they answer they#’re okay but no one tells her her daughter has been raped. The girl’s brother was screaming Somebody help her, Make him stop’ which made it excrutiantly painful.

I just yelled ‘Stop police!’, but I’m not police.
All you have to do this go in there.

Liv and Tucker, seriously? Remember when he was always on hers and Elliot’s asses and basically hated them both? A vlogger gets raped and Rollins does something very stupid. Why would she risk being raped for one victim? They should have had one of her followers attack her, not some random pseudo celebrity. We all knew the new sergeant would run the place, just because of his daddy, and Liv would be left behind.

I’m a vlogger. My followers want to know anything that happens to me.

A good Castle episode, that’s a shocker. I know I should contemplate every week, but there’s nothing to contemplate. But then Castle wanted to get thrown in jail and we remembered why we love it so much.

Also Maggie explaining racism and white privelege to Amelia.

Right on top of my notes it says, ‘The pastor, right?’ and indeed that was the case. One of the best episodes this season, but I really thought brother was the rapist just like in the Dugglars’ case.

Was Annalise checking all her potential students and then saw him and added him from the waitlist. What are the chances that a son would follow his mother’s footsteps without knowing anything about her? Also, the lady who committed suicide was not his biological mom. Are they saying Annalise got pregnant from rape when she was a little girl?

Hi guys. I know I haven’t been reviewing films, (or writing proper reviews of shows either) since summer, but I will once the year ends. I have seen 253 films this year, and I want to make it to 300 by 2016. Here are some reviews I had time to rewrite today, some are missing, but will get posted on the weekend.

Important to point out: Kimmy convincing their mother it’s her agent calling her not her pimp. The new sergant is annoying and does not know anything.

I am said the second halfof season 4 flew by so quickly. I know I would have appreciated this show more If they played it as always, during summer, so no other shows get in the way. And I’m disapointed, as it may mean that we won’t get new episodes in January, but March or something.

Hi guys, welcome back to liveoffmovies. Fall Season is in its full and I’ve been taking my sweet time not posting my reviews. My bad. I was working two shifts, focusing on an internship, I only yesterday realized, I did not want. Plus I was busy moving to my new house. Now that it’s all mostly done, here are some long overdue reviews. The rest of the episodes (over 30 now!) will be posted later next week, once I do my taxes and figure out how to fill in the new expenses form and buy a washing machine and get everything not working in my new house fixed. Uff listing all of these was tiring enough. Thankfully only half of the shows I watch premiered new episodes this week, and Switched at Birth is already on a break, so I’ll have time to catch up with my posting schedule very soon.

First of, Gilmore Girls is coming back! GG got a revival! First Full House, now Gilmore Girls. Thanks, Netflix. Life is good.

Second of all, The Whispers was cancelled. Now we’ll never know what happened to Claire and the kids.

Thirdly, let’s talk about the new season of AHS and why I’ve decided to quit it. I am a huge horror freak and I have always been, but at the same time I have never been a fan of the vampirism genre. I couldn’t follow Buffy or Charmed, never started True Blood or Vampire Diaries. There are a few vampire films that I have enjoyed, like Nosferatu, The Hunger, Fright Night, The Lost Boys, Dracula, 30 Days of Night, or Stake Island, but not enough to explore the genre any further. Furthermore, I am a huge fan of Jessica Lange, and watching the first two episodes of the series, I kept thinking of who her character would be. What we were most scared of, happened. The show got bad without Jessica. The first four seasons were relatable to some extend, season two, even though, my favorite, the least. There are a few shows that I had to talk myself into watching for a couple of episodes, and then, continued watching, because it would be weird to stop. I have tried watching the first episode of the fifth series twice, and that has barely ever happened before. Pilots are supposed to be the intriguing, or even the best episodes. And finally, to quote my father, I have no time for some mediocre fairytale that does not concern me. Which is why, I say goodbye to American Horror Story, at least till next year.

Bones 11.01

I have been disapointed with Bones for the last couple of seasons, probably since season 7, as nothing new ever happened. I am furious that no one is mourning Booth’s brother, because I still remember when season 4 came out and Jared helped save Booth. I remember season 4 too well, as back then the episodes were pretty spectacular, and now they’re all the same. ‘Booth was beaten as a child’ automatically reminded me of Sweets and the episode when he accidentaly showed B&B his back, and Brennan talked about the foster parents who used to lock her up, and now I’m getting nostalgic over, yet again, season 4. Kim Raver guest stars, I’m not sure she’s done anything else than 24 after Teddy left to Germany on Greys.

It was a hilarious episode, nicely surprised. Also, Texas Chainsaw ladies and gents. I absolutely adore all the ED insults. I have a friend who has quit this show saying it’s dumb, and she continues to watch AHS, while I can’t stand it. Scream Queens is light and fun, and it has Jamie Lee Curtis, and surprisingly well written for this kind of show, and I have actually missed it this week. Life is too stressful not to watch a few light shows.
