SVU 18.05

Mariska had a ER reunion with her ER boyfriend, who as it turns out is also her first police parter on SVU. Now he’s trying to guilt Olivia into letting his son’s rape slide.It was a pretty good episode.

She was drunk, but she seemed fine.
Fine? What does that mean?

Is anyone else not really getting this season? It’s not artsy, scary or well acted, so what’s the point of it?

I’ve done my share of slasher films t. This does not smell like corn syrup.
They only got me for 3 episodes, but I got 5! They said fans wanted more. They wanted the butcher!

Our shows are back! What do you guys think about the new fall shows? I hated Notorious, I watched two episodes and it may be one of the most boring TV shows ever made. I think I’ll just stick with The Good Place. And I still need to see This is Us and The Exorcist!

What is happening to Greys?! Yawn, yawn, yawn. And why did they show us the eye surgery again? Other than that, Ben was just his perfect self yesterday. And Tucker Jones is so grown up! He looks 12 already!

SVU 18.01

I was running on reruns and holding on to the last straw. Season 18 started off with an intense Central Park scene, where Liv had to calm down a little child who pointed a gun at her and her son Noah. What a season opener. The episode went more into a terrorism side, than what the show is all about, but Olivia didn’t give in and did everything she could to help the abused Muslim woman. SVU covered recent mass shootings, while staging a Central Park shooting. Throughout the whole episode she had a lovely ‘fed up with perps’ attitude and Mariska was an absolute scene stealer. Here are some quotes I loved, you know the drill.

I am in the park with Noah.
I found him in Central Park, he had a gun.
Rita, you’re representing terrorists now.
Hell of a ride to get on.
She was raped and tortured by him and his brother.
Your job cost my son his life.
Rape or no rape she is a killer.

A teenager was obsessed with Amanda and lied to please her and Amanda said it was not her fault he has a crush on her and that was the best part of the episode. A man rapes the only daughter of a woman who accused him of raping her years ago as the prison ‘made him a rapist’.

The girl was raped, beaten and stabbed.
She was pretty, like you.
Plus Detective Rollins…
I know she’s an attractive woman.
Detective Rollins flirted with you.
It’s not my fault he has a crush on me.
I was raped in prison all the time.

Shameless 7.01

Woah, season 7, what are you doing? I disliked most of the episode for the first time in the history of watching this show! It started off okay and then it got…boring! I didn’t know nurses had to wash coma patient’s genitalia, so thanks for that Shameless. I’ll tell repeat that to my best friend who’s finishing nursing school now. Another reason not to go into medicine. And I hated that Carl’s girlfriend practically bullied him into having a circumscription at 15, what the fuck. Not everyone is a jew, you know? The only thing I liked about this was that Lip will work at Fiona’s diner and I really enjoyed Debbie stealing these baby strollers and getting a nanny. I still don’t understand why Fiona got to keep her ex fiancee and boss was the one who moved away.

When I heard The Goldbergs were doing The Breakfast Club episode, I thought it would be epic. Hell, I was expecting tears running from my eyes. I usually hate when shows act out the famous scene from this teen classic. I loved their tribute to The Goonies! And many other films, including Dirty Dancing or The Ghostbusters, etc. The only show that honored and celebrated The Breakfast Club well enough was Cougar Town a few years back.

Aww The Breakfast Club. Truly the ultimate teen movie of the 80s.

Moira’s scenes at the beginning were amazing! Anything else was awful. Ali was practically sexually assaulted, but sure whatever. Every time the kids defend their mapa’s genre I feel so proud.

Scream Queens 2.01

I guess now we all know why they invited Uncle Jesse to the show. Yes, my favorite scene was the one where Emma Roberts took her clothes off the minute she saw John Stamos naked. I also enjoyed that a Netflix documentary exonerated the Channels. And we all know people who went to med school even though they didn’t study enough and then there are people who really should be doctors and had to retake their exams even though they were much higher than the rich ones the first time. Don’t even get me started with online med schools and doctors who can’t diagnose the simplest things and check everything online while you’re asking them questions. Is everyone else loving Kristie Ally in this as much as I am?!

Finally had time to watch the few season finales I’ve been postponing. Not Castle though, I am too scared to finish Castle.

SVU 17.23

Woah, it’s the first time they mentioned Olivia’s middle name and it’s Margaret! My middle name is Margaret and I have always hated it, this is actually comforting. I never liked Dots. I didn’t get used to him and he always felt like a temporary replacement.

In situations like this..

What a painful episode. Norma became one of my favorite leading ladies the minute I watched the pilot. I really hoped we still had a year before Norman kills her. This is sad, I watched the whole episode in a state of utter shock and blurriness. Have you guys seen The Conjuring 2 yet? Vera brings so much innocence and emotion to her character, I really hope she decides to come back for the third one.

How cute was that Elizabthe and Jack flashback montage? Rosemary and Lee have always been the cutest couple, they just clicked the first day, they’re both witty and fun. I’m glad they got married, and never had any foulish drama.

What a crappy episode! Everyone is drugged and has a kissing orgy. Disgusted and very disappointed. When they didn’t have an orgy they didn’t do anything interesting, we learned that Emma keeps a dream journal and Jake was found in a Carrie kind of way.

Another wonderful episode. SVU takes down every Bachelerotte-like reality series. Olivia and Fin’s reactions to Amanda and Carissi eating dinner together were priceless.

I finished watching American Crime Story last week, and the only exasperating thing was the fact that Marcia was raped on a trip to Israel, not Italy, but I guess Italy seemed like a safer option. Comedy Central has stopped showing Everybody Loves Raymond reruns, even though they never showed seasons 5-9, I wanted to watch the first four since I never saw it as a whole. I still have Castle to catch up with, but obviously I am postponing it as I don’t want it to end. I still have 6 episodes of Bones to watch that I’m saving for when all other shows end this week, 3 episodes of Scandal, and I haven’t even started second season of Grace and Frankie. I also hope Awkward gets renewed, even though second half of season 5 was awful, but who made them base the whole half season in summer? It would have better if they showed them in college, who cares that they’re all in different ones.

SVU 17.22

Weak first half of the finale. The previous two were absolutely perfect. Robert Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond is still a NYPD cop, just now he rapes too. I am aware of a possible death in the finale and I’m afraid to think who could that be.

Bates Motel 4.09

I hated this episode, because I truly believed they’d bring Norma back. Gas poisoning was not how how Norma died in the Psycho franchise, so I thought she’d be okay. I thought the show would end with Norma’s death, so I wasn’t prepared as I was sure we’ll still have one more year. Dylan fought with Norma before her death and now he’ll feel guilty. I’m just hoping he’ll be back for season 6, and him and Emma were not just written off the show. I am afraid to watch the finale, as Norman is stuffing Norma’s body and I would be okay with it, if he wasn’t stuffing a character I’ve loved for the last 4 years.

The Middle 7.22

What a lovely season finale. I cried when Frankie said Axl was finally growing up and when Brick sang and when Frankie told Sue to have a great summer.

Axl being Axl scored the cushiest job of all time.
How about peaked in high school.
I hate drama, I mean, I love drama, but the good kind.
Who knows maybe that’s why he stopped getting taller.
All that height and you accomplish nothing.
You may think you’re cool, but you’re not. At the end of the day, you’re just a guy who missed out on a lot of fun stuff.
I guess it took the 10 year old version of him to brung it out in him.
Yep, my boy was finally growing up.
I need to speak with the principal, so get her or him.
And we’ve only just began.

The show is getting worse with each episode and I hoped they’d give us a nice goodbye. I downloaded Rayna’s song the minute the episode ended. I was so happy when I saw Juliette sent Glenn to protect Maddie. Pretty shocked about Maddie using Rayna’s last name as her stage name, but I guess it’s understandable.

I just wanna have a breakdown.
To hell with looking for that silver lightning.
Someone’s giving her some really bad advice.
She calls him his good luck charm.

Faking It 3.10

I didn’t know Amy and Karma were supposed to end up together! The show’s creator tweeted that they would have dated for half of last season. And let’s be honest Karmy was the only reason I got into the show. And now what? Everyone is with someone they weren’t even supposed to date and the show was cancelled. Even though I love Amy Brenneman and Brad Siberling (hello, Moonlight Mile!) I am not starting Heartbeat. The pilot felt like Grey’s wannabe and we remember how Melissa George’s character got kicked out of the program. It’s Sunday, my notebook is full of notes and reviews, so here we go.

I was so happy when I saw Mandy! But she’s an escort now and killed a man. Lip being shocked about her driving a jeep and Ian not telling him where Mandy works, so he can be proud of her was absolutely incredible, and one of my favorite scenes this season. What’s with the commune living though?

It took me a while to watch the finale April 9th to be exact, and it was disappointing just like the whole season.

Eve’s’Did he hurt you?’ were the exact words Alex used 3 weeks later when he got 911 call from Maggie about Meredith on Greys.

Pretty Little Liars 6.18

This half season is excruciating. I honestly have 5 episodes to watch and no desire to sdo so. I have also accidentally ruined the spring ending for myself – thanks TV Guide, so now I’m even less excited about watching them. I will try to watch them on Netflix when I’m off tomorrow.

Did they abort the baby? Or was it just a false alarm, I don’t remember at this point. What is wrong with being a cop? It’s a perfectly respectable job. I know that Toby did some one month long Mickey Mouse course, that would never pass as a cop course, but still, he’s a cop. Who needs college is they want to be a cop? Aria getting burned was just too predictable and fake. Makes me realize what everyone has been saying for the last two years at least, that this show has been on too long. I don’t know why I gave this episode so many points. I must have been tired.

There’s probably one of your beanies still in there.

Greys 12.12

I am so happy they didnt kill Mer’s first patient. I was scared theoughout the whole episode that that was gonna happen. Her death would ruin the pilot we love so much. It would mess with the past and make us feel like there is no point in leaving since something we believed for 11 years now would have changed. There is no messing with the past. It’s our holy ground and I’m hlad Shonda gets it.

Someone said that. Wait that was me.
Guys, this room is full of dead people, show some respect.
She was my first patient.
They still let you be a doctor here?
She was a trainwreck.
So he thinks you should have been on that helicopter.
I work in peds. I figured it out.

Greys 17.11

The little Kepner wanting to have 3 children was adorable. Why on Earth didn’t she say she was pregnant? I honestly never could stand Avery, now it’s pure hate.

A case about a tacher sleeping with her students, meanwhile a wrestling coach sexualy assaults boys.

There are two predators in the same school.
Predators know who to pick on.

Whatever he may have made you do.

SVU 17.11

One of the best episodes this season where Olivia goes to the house of a family her babysitter works for, and ends up being one of the hostages. The 16 year old daughter is raped, and Olivia once again cannot stop the rapist. The mother then calls and asks how are their kids and they answer they#’re okay but no one tells her her daughter has been raped. The girl’s brother was screaming Somebody help her, Make him stop’ which made it excrutiantly painful.

I just yelled ‘Stop police!’, but I’m not police.
All you have to do this go in there.

Liv and Tucker, seriously? Remember when he was always on hers and Elliot’s asses and basically hated them both? A vlogger gets raped and Rollins does something very stupid. Why would she risk being raped for one victim? They should have had one of her followers attack her, not some random pseudo celebrity. We all knew the new sergeant would run the place, just because of his daddy, and Liv would be left behind.

I’m a vlogger. My followers want to know anything that happens to me.
You didn’t deserve what happened to you.
Her exact words?
I don’t know her head was in my lap.

A good Castle episode, that’s a shocker. I know I should contemplate every week, but there’s nothing to contemplate. But then Castle wanted to get thrown in jail and we remembered why we love it so much.
